Welcome to Opus! I can't wait to explore this world with you. This setting is permeated by the influence of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Deck, its themes and symbolism woven throughout characters/NPCs, regions, and encounters.

That being said... as a player, knowledge of tarot is not needed to be able to roleplay, although if you are familiar, you may find that some aspects of Opus are self-explanatory. Rather, my hope is that after playing in this world, you will find that you have internalized aspects of the Tarot simply by existing and living in Opus!

Something to Remember...

As you sift through this wiki, please allow it to serve as a starting point for your character's inspiration. Do not feel as though you have to fit your character within the articles that already exist - if you want your character to be from a remote fishing village, have mysterious origins, or something else - we can make that happen together!
