Playable Races

Common: Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, Dwarves
Uncommon: Half-Orcs, Dragonborns, Gnomes, Halflings
Rare: Tieflings, Genasi, Orcs
*If you want to use a different race than those mentioned above, that's usually fine, but ask your DM first.

Classes

All classes are playable, however they should be run by the DM first, even if a player is just taking a multiclass level. Additionally, some classes are more common in certain regions.

Character Backstories

Blank Slate: Blank slate characters are usually younger characters with little experience in the world. If you want to build your character in the world, this is the best choice. You should have a general idea of the characters' personalities, but the DM will help you fill in the relationships you might have in the game..
Established Character: If you have a solid idea of what type character you want to play and just need help getting them into Opus. Over time, you will get to know the world better and the need for DM input will decrease.
Mysterious Character: If you have an idea for a character concept, but want your character to be more than they know themselves. The DM will assist with input into the backstories and may also allow some otherwise secret information to be shared.
