Moiréweaving
Moiréweaving is the highly experimental practice of manipulating extraplanar extemporalities to manipulate future events. It is related to the practice of divination magic, but seems to rely on power from the Upper Planes or Lower Planes alongside or instead of traditional astral- and ley-based sources.
Moiréweaving was first formally theorized by Atropogogue Skriabyn Exhtass of the Convocation of Wands in Y1109. The name "moiréweaving" is derived from Nonamoira, the traditional Celestial name for the sister of The Fates who is said to spin the thread of destiny for all worlds and beings.
When the Titans split the worlds from each other, did they know that they would continue to divide? When Nonamoira spins her wheel, does she know which threads will hold and which will fray? ... I am the High Lord of Visions. I paid with half my heart to keep one tyrant from affixing himself to glory. Here I weave what remains—with my blood, my breath, my soul—in hopes to keep that thread bound tight.
