Athena
Athena is the Olympian Dynasty goddess of knowledge, language, logic, and craft. She is most often revered in human-majority cultures, but is also widely recognized as a leader and symbol of the progress of the Age of Complexity.
The story of Athena's deogenesis purports that she emerged fully grown from the forehead of her father Zeus, in full armor and with all of her considerable powers already developed. She often uses this power as a patron of heroes and adventurers, protecting them from the wrath of other gods. The most famous tale of Athena's power is that, at the end of the Litigation of Flames, she granted perfect understanding of Common to all souls on the Material Plane.
Worship of Athena is widespread, and said to serve a number of purposes. Artisans, particularly knitters and weavers, often burn the prototypes or test swatches of important projects after they are no longer needed to thank Athena for her guidance. Some military marching songs reference Athena, and a few even originated as solemn hymns before being adopted by soldiers to pray for wisdom and success in battle. Many universities, libraries, and scholastic orders claim Athena as a patron goddess. The largest of these is the Academium Arcanum al-Nabucco.
