Goosefeather

Goosefeather is the capitol of Sithean and the largest city in the Kingdom. It is the residence of Mother Goose and her children. The majority of the people living in Sithean are Animals. Other ethnicities include humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes, tieflings, dragonborn, owlins, harengons, leonins, tabaxi, aarakockrans, cervans, corvums, fairies, and mapachs.   Goosefeather is divided into several districts. When entering the city by the East Gate, visitors find themselves in The Gambol. This is the main market place for Goosefeather, and home to merchants, traders, and local workers.   South of the Gambol is Soot Town which divides itself into Upper and Lower Soot Town. Upper Soot Town, while one of the less desirable districts in Goosefeather, is a modest residential area housing a large portion of the city's working class. Lower Soot Town has a reputation for hosting less savory activities. The residents there live in poorer conditions.   West of Soot Town is The Greenway, a comfortable residential area with spacious homes. Just beyond The Greenway is The Garden District. Although the houses are not quite as large as the ones in The Greenway, the Garden District is considered one of the nicest districts for the common people and is home to many of the city's business owners and artisans.   On the upper level of Goosefeather is the Nobles District. As the name implies, Sithean nobles and aristocrats live here in large mannor houses and luxurious componds. The Goosefeather Library can be found in this district as well.   Beyond the Nobles District are The Shambles and the Artisans District. The Shambles are small but comfortable homes for many of the servants who work in The Nobles District. The Goosefeather Library, the Fighers Guild, and several small temples can be found in this district. The Artisans District is where visitors can find blacksmiths, leather workers, herbalists, apothecaries, armorers, brewers, and jewelers. The Citizen's Square is also in the Artisans District, which leads to the Palace itself.   Below the Shambles is The Warren, so named because of the closely built small homes and the winding alleyways between them. The Shambles is a mixed neighborhood of mostly Animal residents, but also tieflings, owlins, harengons, leonins, tabaxi, aarakockrans, cervans, corvums, and mapachs. It is also home to the Night Market--a place where visitors can find rare and unusual items.
