Amalda Underhall

The Bringer of Death

Amalda is a smaller but toned Halfling with long black hair, bright green eyes, and a pale, but rosy complexion. Amalda is typically depicted wearing a forest green cloak, brown leather cuirass over a light blue undershirt, and black hide leggings. She is more often shown triumphantly telling a story at a massive feast. Halflings that worship Amalda do so after their adventures have concluded, they retire, and they now have the time to enjoy the simpler parts of life and share their tales. Her mount is recognized to be a Brown Bear.

Dogma

Amalda is a very trusting Halfling. Amalda wants every Halfling that welcomes Her as their Bringer to enjoy the luxuries their lives have allowed them to enjoy. Halflings that worship Amalda recognize that She welcomes them regardless of their walks of life, and will always provide the benefit of the doubt to those that may appear hard to trust. Amalda worshippers tend to become guides in their years worshipping Her.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Amalda will always prefer for Her followers to share their experiences with others and thus, a life not squandered is a story gained in Her eyes. However, there are those that choose safety over life experience. Though these worshippers would be pitied by the Bringer of Death, She will never view them any less than Her other Halflings. Thus, a Halfling that worships Amalda will never lose Her favor, for she will always welcome Her children.

Interactions with the World

Amalda, though a Bringer of Death, is always listening to Her people. She watches over all Hobbits, and enjoys each story they bring to Her. Worshippers of Amalda do not just fade away in retirement. These Hobbits become magic item curators, adventure guides, artifact collectors, and so much more. And when these Hobbits die, they will be greeted by Amalda and offered a seat at Her table to regale every one of their tales of Omen.
