Voyimir Dynasty
The Voyimir Dynasty is the ruling family of Veliky Farwind . They have ruled as Grand Princes for over 350 years and were the rulers of Veliky Farwind during the Crown Ruination. They were founded by the first of their line, Voyan the Imperishable who came to power after the previous ruler was killed by rebels. He put down the rebellion and claimed the throne in the name of the Farwinder people.
They have had several leaders throughout their time ruling Farwind. THe current patriarch is the Grand Prince Bogdan III Voyimir , who has ruled over Farwind for the past 45 years.
Structure
The family has several branches but the individual who is seen as leader of the family is the patriarch. The oldest male relative of sound mind and body. The current patriarch is Grand Prince Bogdan Voyimir IV, the current ruler of Veliky Farwind.
History
The Voyimir Dynasty was formed in 3501 when the Voivode Stisla Voyimir was married to the Princess of Kraystena, Vanka Toronov.
The Voivode was a heroic warrior and a learned scholar who led his army against a swarm of demons that appeared and ravaged the countryside. He found the demons near the Agre river and after slaying the demonic leader himself, he was gifted a keep, a title, and Vanka's hand in marriage. His family then grew in influence as his grandson Vojta became Prince of Rekgorod. They still grew in influnece until Stisla II became Grand Prince after inheriting the throne from his uncle.
