Yožiža
The Yožiža is a disease that affects those in the army. Its name refers to the Yoži, the military subset of the Maðúšýï, and the term can roughly be translated to 'shellshock', although the two words are not quite the same in terms of scope. It was first seen in large numbers during the First Varhoŋïan War, where it is famous for incapacitating a large number of Varonian Trade Coalition troops during the second phase of the War.
Curiously, the Yožiža is not a singular condition, but multiple conditions caused by multiple stressors. It is a product of the battle conditions, namely in the imbalance between energy exertion and food intake, which is exasperated by physical injury. The situation would be so chaotic that food intake would be neglected almost entirely, and as such, the being would be starved of nutrients very quickly. This is not only due to mere forgetfulness, however; most physical injuries of serious caliber deform the body so much so as to warp the structure of the Vanýst, the throat of the Ibrófeneð. This further causes many potential problems, but these are all linked in that they all cause the disalignment of the Tewaðup, the sets of teeth that populate the walls of the throat. This disalignment renders the teeth unable to function properly due chiefly to the fact that disaligned teeth crash into the walls of the throat and deal severe damage to it and the brain.
As such, what happens is a vicious cycle; physical injury causes an Ibrófeneð to be unable to feed properly, which thus causes the worsening of the injury in question and the slimming of one's chances to feed again. As such, victims of the Yožiža are very often left to die or maybe even killed in a coup de grâce, as others can do nothing to help them.
