Pact of Vërðïm

The Pact of Vërðïm was a document signed in 25021 AYM between Vörrügša, the rising Öšdúu-Vërðïm, and the various regional leaders in the formative city of Vërðïm. It was meant to establish a lasting peace between the king and thse various groups after their subjugation by the marauder army of Kŋýöšremb, Vörrügša's brother. However, upon the assassination of Kŋýöšremb mere days later, the Pact was dissolved and Vörrügša would round up all of the regional leaders and execute them, formally establishing his absolute rule over the city.

Although the original document of the Pact has long been destroyed, it still represents an important document in Vërðïan history, identity, and culture, namely as a representation of both the Öšdúu's mercy and righteous fury.
