Hvýomað-Yoži

Its name refers to the leader (Hyvamto, in this case shortened and corrupted to Hvýo) of the Maðúšýï (shortened to Mað) Tribe's army (Yoži). In this case, the army instead refers to the distinct portions thereof as established by Úvremk, with the Hvýomað-Yoži being in charge of one of four total sections, with the fifth being reserved for the Hyvamto-Maðúšýï. Although subordinate to the Hyvamto-Maðúšýï, the supreme ruler of the tribe, the Hvýomað-Yoži was able to lead his portion of the army in any such way he desired. Instead of behind held to a legal or symbolic oath, the Hvýomað-Yoži was almost always an individual who displayed immense courage, resilience, and most importantly, a devotion to the Maðúšýï's longevity and the ideals and principles of the Tžý, or war philosophy, of the Tribe. It was through this devotion that a Hvýomað-Yoži was merely trusted in to lead well.

The immense emphasis the tribe placed on raiding made the role of the Hvýomað-Yoži extremely prevalent in all aspects of tribal life. In contrast to the exhaustive complexity and responsibility of the Hyvamto-Maðúšýï, the comparative freedom of the Hvýomað-Yoži rendered it very desirable to the populace. Many saw it as a way to properly profess their loyalty and devotion to the tribe's cause through the use of their own unique skills and operating styles. However, the Hyvamto-Maðúšýï almost always selected them from members of his own army, especially of his own section, who had the advantage of directly displaying their acumen, skills, and loyalty through their time within the army itself.
