Anirhož

Anirhož was the Head of the Tómošek Family and the second recorded Hyvamto-Rhïlýrhonid of the Ïlýrhonid Tribe, having ruled from 25080 to 25021 AYM. His reign makes up the majority of what is dubbed the Ýmor-Šapariž, a crucial period of internal division and strife. For those inside the Ïlýrhonid Tribe, it was, among other things, due to Anirhož's inability to confront the problems besetting the tribe that resulted in the Heta-Ýmor-Vëtam and set off the long chain of family-wide emigrations. On the other side of the coin, Anirhož is often fondly remembered by those who left the tribe as being profoundly sensible regarding the changes occurring around him; his decision to abolish the Kavamïŋ-Ïlýrhonid when it was proven false is often seen as one of the chief moments that restored the public's faith in the central tribal government.

Anirhož is highly venerated in the Tómošek Family and forms a central part of their mythos.

Biography

Anirhož was a prominent member of the Tómošek Family. The second son of the previous head, who is identified as Irhdöšayï, his name follows the typical tripartite structure of Tómošekian names. Specifically, the prefix An- refers to a particular legendary individual in the Family's history, the middle portion -irh- is a phenome directly borrowed from the parent, and the suffix -ož refers to the hopes and views of the namer as befit the situation at the time. A myriad of possible interpretations for the suffix exist, but given the relative obscurity of the Tómošekian cultural language and naming conventions, none of these are confirmed.

The Žötó-Ïdhatón records the birthdate as being in 25122 AYM, which places it within the Ýmor-Šïwëðo. His father would die in 25095 AYM, and per convention, Anirhož would thus succeed him as the Head of the Family. This time was the start of the Žötó-Žimiara's influence and the period known as the Ýmor-Šapariž. This would coincide with the first major period of natural disasters, which rocked the tribe from 25100 to 25080 AYM. For the Tómošek Family, their territory was adjacent to the Kairn River System, and so it was most affected by the floods of the river, which hurt the cropfields that had sprung up around it.
