Tómošek Family

The Tómošek, or Taumosek Family was one of the twelve families that had coalesced and converged in the Ïlýrhonid Tribe. It inhabited a southeastern section of the territory adjacent to the Kairn River System. The Family's culture was known for being highly centered on ancestral lineage and a symbolic duty to uphold their image, which allowed them to remain resilient and free from internal schisms throughout its history.

The Tómošek Family was the 6th Family to leave the Ïlýrhonid tribe, which it left in 24332 AYM. The family went southwestward, sailing through the Erithorn Ocean until landing at the southwestern corner of the Kalzuth Plains. Over time, they inhabited the entirety of the Plains and formed the country of Naeirouna in 16827 AYM.

The earliest known member of the Taumosek family was Caprolk, who lived from 26832 to 25759 AYM.

History

The Tómošek culture was highly structured and possessed a distinct tripartite naming convention. All three parts consisted of single phonemes. The prefix drew from the names of a myriad of ancestral, likely legendary, figures. The middle part drew from one of the individual's parents, typically that would took the duty of being a caretaker for him. The last part was a phoneme picked by the caretaker to reflect what they saw most in the newborn individual and/or in the situation that the caretaker's society was facing. This took the form of whatever the caretaker wanted most to be combatted or pursued, like peace, hate, or knowledge, to name a few. However, in accordance with the deeds and values of the ancestors of the Family, this suffix was restricted to a good handful of specific words from the Family's traditional language, most of which has been lost to history. In this way, the tripartite strcuture was chiefly a combination of influences from the short-term past (parents) and the long-term past (ancestral) coming together to be emulated through the present individual.
