Žlúnúyšat

Žlúnúyšat was a prominent member of the Wýðúric Expedition and later the only ruler of the Öšdúu-Güðün during its short six-year existence from 25026 to 25019 AYM. After being deposed by the tribe of Varhoŋïð-Khalúš, he would travel to Lómóhüd, where he would reside until his death.

Biography

Although one of the more well-known figures from the Öšdúu system of governance popular at the time, little is known about Žlúnúyšat except that which is found in the Nüvodüno Family's Žötó-Ïdhatón. It is from this source that his birth and death dates are determined.

His first appearance in records outside the Žötó-Ïdhatón is in the Wýðúric Expedition's list of members, where he has been given the responsibility of leading a specific section. This specific section would be responsible for the transportation, placement, and tracking of the Wëbëlup-Wýðúr, which were long poles used to avoid getting lost. It is apparent that Wýðúr himself trusted Žlúnúyšat very much; his section was the most independent part of the Expedition and he was given immense freedom on where to place the poles and how to mark/decorate them. In this aspect, he was very much a second-in-command of the Expedition.

Upon returning back to the third Wëbëlup-Wýðúr, the Expedition would found the city of Güðün using the spare supplies and wood. Once again, Wýðúr would delegate responsibility to Žlúnúyšat, who oversaw the harvesting and transportation of resources. Anticipating the large influx of travelers in light of the success of the Expedition, he would structure the city around two large gates, each several meters wide and facing east-west. Connecting the two would be a large street, on whose sides he organized several storehouses and in the middle of which was the Wëbëlup-Wýðúr.

When the influx did come, the city was thus very well-equipped, and Žlúnúyšat, while never formally coronated, was nonetheless acknowledged as the 'boss', or 'caretaker'.
