Ïdavý

Ïdavý, or Daytime, is the quality of a timeframe, typically 27 Ïzamúte or 1 Ýlafe on Ólïvarneð, defined by a certain region being bathed in the direct sunlight of the star. It is the opposite of, and paired with, the concept of Ðúvý, or Nighttime, which typically lasts the same amount of time and occurs when the region is in the shadow of the star. By extension, both terms, Ïdavý and Ðúvý, describe the conditions and changes in the environment and biology that the changes in brightness bring about.

In one year on ÓlÏvarneð, the months of Nota (2nd), Anta (4th), Suta (6th), and Wota (8th) are typically those characterized by Ïdavý, while the others are characterized by Ðúvý.
