Yggdrasil encompasses Reality, What Is, surrounded by The Void space, What Isn't, and The Veil separates them from each other. Within Yggdrasil, there exist 9 massive Realms referred to as the 9 Great Realms and it is to and around that that all other Realms are attached and depend on it, Yggdrasil just connects them. Traversing the Multiverse & the World Tree
All the Worlds and Realms are connected via Yggdrasil, and travel between them can be achieved through a Bifröst Engine, a machine that harnesses the power of the energy that flows from Alvheim, into Yggdrasil, and to all Realms. Bifröst Engines are powered by a Lantern which captures the Light of Alvheim and allows for travel. Traveling via the Bifröst depletes the Lanterns charge, bigger lanterns can hold a longer charge.
