Most of the family, not knowing much else, resorted to panhandling, petty theft and cons to make sure everyone was fed.
Jane was smart enough to realise the cycle this left her family in and wanted to do something to get them out and set them right.
As a child, while her brothers were picking pockets, she was always asking questions of the growers at the markets and sneaking the occasional fruit or vegetable home. They mostly found her a nuisance, but some days they'd answer her questions and she'd collect these notes in her diary, until one day a grower who was getting on in his years offered her a job. She was given a copper a day, plus some food to take home to her family, it wasn't much, but he needed the help on the orchard and at the markets and in return he'd teach her everything he knew.

Jane put every effort into her job at Natures Garden Orchards and remained an employee there for many years.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Saving all her money and learning everything she could, Jane was able to make arrangements for purchase of land in Port Entrada where she moved with a few select family members and set up her very own orchard, Juicy Janes. This has given her family a way to live comfortably, lawfully, and without fear for the future.
