Half-Dragons
or, The Homo Draconis Gigantus
Half-Dragons as a species are an odd one, as the first Dragonborn can be noted as half dragons as well. For the purposes here, half-dragons are the species that resulted from Dragons coupling with the Giants of the Ancient World, resulting in giant sized Dragonborn with low intelligence and massive strength. Living in the inhospitable places of the world, they are chaotic and monstrous, living alone save for mating season.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Half-Dragons are known for low intelligence, and thus their names follow a harsh example of Draconian sounding Giant. Half-Dragons care not for sex, an outsider cannot determine an individuals gender by name alone. Their names are low and uncaring, closer to grunts than names.
Beauty Ideals
Half-Dragons have no concept of beauty, but a good bet is to be covered in the skin and furs of those you've killed.
Gender Ideals
With no notable gender ideals besides the basic reproductive functions, Half-Dragons have the same ideals regardless of gender. Eat, breed, survive.
Courtship Ideals
When a male seeks a female, he must first kill the other males in the area and return with their skulls before the female will even allow him to mate. If males are scarce, this role instead switches to the female.
Relationship Ideals
Once the eggs are laid, the male and female bury them, and both leave to their own devices.
Common Etiquette Rules
Half-Dragons have no sense of etiquette, only hunger. However, someone who offers ofther food may be able to sway their temptation from the living.
