Scarletta Guild of Spellcasters
The Scarletta Guild of Spellcasters is a group of approximately 2 dozen licensed spellcasters within the lands of Knapsworth and greater Scarletta. They are the only licensed spellcasters in the region, and, as per Scarlettan law, all spellcasters of any sort MUST register with the guild and obtain a license, an onerous process, in order to practice their craft. The penalties for violation are harsh. No orcs, or half orcs of any sort are permitted to be spellcasters under these laws, though enforcement of this particular provision is growing increasingly challenging.
