Knarl Igg - City Overview

Knarl Igg is a major Orcish settlement. It is quite poor, with insufficient farmland to feed its population. Land within Knarl Igg's sphere of influence is often poorly arable, and the more bountiful and productive land to the south is controlled tightly by Knapsworth   Daily life in Knarl Igg is therefore a challenge, with many in the city turning to raiding human-controlled lands, many of which were formally orcish, to feed their family units. This takes the form of both small loosely organized raiding parties, as well as the larger resistance army of the Orcish Congregate. Beyond raids, the settlement subsists on farming and hunting, along with trading with the more prosperous orcish settlment nearby, Korig.   One of the most successful industries in Knarl Igg is distilling, with a liquor, called Rosque, being a major export.
