Humans
Humans are the world's inventors.
As relative newcomers to their current stage, humans are weaker in the magics infusing many of the other races, and humans with magical talents are far rarer than magically inclined Elves, Gnomes, Dwarves, Dragonborn, or even Halflings. This actually suits the human race perfectly fine. Magic is strange, incomprehensible, and unreliable in their eyes. Those whose magic manifests early are often ridiculed outcasts. Such humans frequently become hermits, or take up life amongst other more tolerant races later in their life. Instead, humans trust what can be built with their own two hands, and the products of their minds. Technologically, they are FAR beyond the development of any other race, save the Dwarves, and even they in recent decades have begun to fall behind, thanks to the most recent experiments of humankind.
Human Nobility
Titles such as Baron, Count, and Duke are used to describe the person that rules a village, town, or major city. As well as how much power these men or women possess. Noble families are people who have gained enough military power or influence to be recognized by the nobles already in place. The title of King exists in the Hierarchy, but no one has ever managed to defender their claim. Dukes / Duchesses are currently the most powerful people in Human society. They run the largest cities. Dukes are part of a royal family that has been ruling the city for several generations. Count / Countess are the titles used to describe a ruler of a large town or a small city. These families have been nobles for usually three or four generations. Baron / Baroness are those that run villages, forts, and large estates. Barons and Baronesses are usually the first, or the second generation, in their family to be recognized as a noble. Life for a Barrony is often chaotic, violent, and short if they aren’t careful. Barons and Baroness rule over one or more village. They usually live in forts or mansions with fortifications located near one of these villages. It is common for Barronies to swear loyalty to Counts or Dukes to gain protection from other nobles. This protection though is never given against other Baronnies. When two Baronnies clash few of the higher nobles care for their petty squabbling. Barons and Baroness know that the Counts and Dukes care not for who runs the villages as long as they get their due. Barons tend to fight in small battles with bands of warriors that have either sworn loyalty or been hired by the Baroness. The noble lives of Counts and Duchess are more stable. Counts and Dukes have courts and professional armies. These armies are well equipped and supplied while defending the lands of their lord. Logistics is an issue for all of these armies when on the attack though. Titles and positions in the courts are given to powerful merchants, military leaders, scientists, and many more. When granted one of these positions or titles the individual swears loyalty to the noble that granted the title. While having a title or positions the individual gains the financial and political backing of their Lord or Lady. Each position and title comes with it’s own responsiblites. When given a title or a position the individual becomes a minor noble. There are general positions and titles seen at every court, each court has unique titles and positions. Some of the common titles include Captain of The Guard, Viscount/Viscountess, Master of (the name city’s college), Master of Coin, Hand of the Lord/Lady.Notable of Human inventions

Anatomy
Humans are straight of posture, with softer skin than most of the other common races (and they do have skin, as opposed to the hide of an orc, or the scales of a dragonborn). As such, they may be prone to physical injury. They have created armors to remedy this.
