Steam Power
Invented by Deltin Selvin, humans have realized that, by harnessing the power of heating water, and forcing the resulting steam into a confied space, the efforts it makes to push its way out can drive something very, very heavy. There is currently a race to see who or what makes the best use of this newfound energy, which promises to affect every facet of modern society, given time.
