House Alderian is the founding and ruling dynasty of the Kingdom of Alderia, originating from outlaw pirate settlers who unlawfully colonized the mysterious region known as the Alder. Over two centuries, they transformed from opportunistic raiders into a rigid feudal aristocracy, now ruling a land of farms, river plains, mountain baronies, and frontier woods. Their legacy is inseparable from bloodshed: the Alderian Conquest included the full extermination of the Glaviankin and the destruction of the Federation Mandate tribes. Today, House Alderian governs through a patchwork of vassals, oathbound baronies, and martial authority, ruling from the capital of Arlandia.

History
House Alderian emerged from pirate origins, illegally settling the Alder. When the Federation Mandate attempted to expel them, they failed to break Arlandia’s siege. Sarlous Alderian’s decisive cavalry charge shattered the Mandate army; afterward, Alderian forces systematically purged Glaviankin and Mandate tribes, claiming sovereign rule and establishing feudal ranks among loyal raiders.
Following the purge mass witch hunts began all over The Alder causing magic to be considered no more than a fairy tale in modern times.
For 250 years they expanded, formalised, and secured dominion. The Era of Enchantment dawned 87 years ago, heralding whispers of strange magic, lost powers, and a kingdom whose bloody foundations have never been forgotten by those who survived — or by those descendants who remember the dead.
Demography and Population
The Kingdom of Alderia is a predominantly Alderian-speaking, Alderian-blooded realm, with approximately 90% of its population composed of native Alderians. The remaining population consists primarily of minority goblins, dwarves, elves, and rare beastfolk concentrated in border territories, trade towns, and vassal provinces.
The Kingdom of Alderia is organized into two primary counties. The Crown County of Arlandia forms the political and economic center of the realm, containing the capital and most fertile agricultural territory along the Silver River plains. The second administrative region consists of the baronial territories of Serenity, the West Forest, and Aldersort, unified under a single county authority despite their distinct landscapes and histories. Serenity represents a longstanding settled province of highland farms and lake territories, the West Forest is a frontier region colonized only fifty years ago and still undergoing expansion and consolidation, and Aldersort serves as the mountainous industrial and mining heart of the county. Together, these three baronies form a single county-level jurisdiction supporting the crown, balancing established nobility, frontier development, and mineral wealth under the Alderian feudal system.
