Palasca Orbital

A massive habitat in orbit of Novus' moon Palasca.

Geography

At several kilometers in diameter, Palasca Orbital is the largest artificial structure built by humans in space. Consisting of two large rings rotating around a central pillar, the station holds hundreds of thousands, both residents and visitors. The rings generate artificial gravity through their rotation, and contain most of the population. The central pillar has six sides, each with a column of dockyards for vessels.

Ecosystem

Almost entirely artificial, Palasca Orbital does have a garden segment in each ring. Each garden has a selection of flora and fauna which are able to thrive in a closed ecosystem.

Climate

Interal station temperature sits at a comfortable 20 degrees centigrade.

Fauna & Flora

Vegetation decorates the garden segments, from flowers to trees. Small mammals and pollenating insects also call the gardens home.
