Gorohkin
Basic Information
Anatomy
Kin were mostly humanoid in form, but everything else was not. What they were made of is undetermined, how their faces looked is undetermined, if they even had skin is undetermined. Most of their current depictions are fully clothed on all sides, so little there is little we can really conclude.
Genetics and Reproduction
It is theorized that the same Gorohkin who conquered the plane were the same who were extinct 10 thousand years ago, so reproduction is mostly not on the table.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Substance was not in the form of food, not the one we know of, but life.
When Kin consumed meat, they did not do it for protein, carbohydrates, or flesh, but for life which once populated the body.
Only life feeds life, taste was not the matter, they just absorbed it, allegedly, killing lesser beings so they may live ever more... that may very well be the most human aspect of the Ancient Empire.

Behaviour
Despite all this supernatural information, personal texts depict the Kin as fairly human and emotional folk. How this is possible concerning their incredible capabilities, suposed omnivision, immortality, and lack of reproductive desires, is still unknown...
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
It is said they could see through the Weave, everywhere, anytime. But this omnivision is more and more contested by their supposed lack of vision some texts bring forward.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Names were not a Gorohkin custom. Little of them actually created names for themselves just because, but identification was not really needed when contact is made through telepathy, energy transmission, or absorption, so they named themselves over arbitrary jobs and titles that referred to them in specific situations, like, translated in common language, the Builder, the Conjurer, the High Practitioner, the Archmaster, etc.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
All Gorohkin art depicts them wearing masks of different animals, having eyes of different colors, wearing gloves, dresses, and synthetical hair. Why they all dressed the same with the only change being their mask, eyes, and type of dress, is far from anyone's understanding.
Something that Temporal Historians have concluded recently, is why their eyes change, and what it means. Relations have been made between the eyes of the Kin, and the school of magic they were using at the time, so the Historians made a list of what the eye colors supposedly represent based on the documents that referred to them:
•Conjuration: Blue
•Necromancy: Purple
•Evocation: Orange
•Abjuration: White
•Transmutation: Yellow
•Divination: Black (or colorless)
•Enchantment: Red
•Illusion: Green
Why did their physical composition have to change for them to actually use magic is beyond us, but maybe, it was a show of the true nature of Novarkan's strange and unnatural Weave...

Common Myths and Legends
It is said that Gorohkin actually coexisted with humanoid beings, which they used as slaves... There are little records of this and only personal notes, but they were supposedly used for entertainment an trivial tasks that magic couldn't solve, like being-to-being natural interaction.
It would be really unusual that this was the case, because if humanoids existed during Gorohkins time, how did they get in?
Other legends say that the Gorohkin were actually Scelerious beings, each with their own element and obligation to act like it. There is also one report... one that was found in the surrounding of EMAcademy in the Mons Astra of nowadays, that it was Destruction Elementals who governed the ways of the Empire back then, and it was them who brough society down to a standstill, and maybe them who brought the Plague...
All of these are merely myths and there isn't enough evidence to actually confirm them, and we don't think we will find them anytime soon.
