This Earldom is very much coloured by its location next to Atonia, especially the capital Pekneth. Only Aljedah is influenced more by Atonia. The Earldom is closer to Pekneth than the vast majority of people in Atonia.

The Earldom has very close relations with Atonia because it shares a long border with it including the area around Carham which is almost an exclave. The Carham area has the same culture as Atonia, Angshire. This is the only part of Habuda that has Angshire culture as the dominant culture.

The Earldom grows a lot of fruit and has a thriving viticulture industry focused around the local red wine. The Earldom grows a lot of apples, pears and apricots.
The orchards benefit from a strong apiary industry.

The western part of the Earldom sells much of the goods to the capital of Atonia. Eastern areas are better integrated with other provinces in southern Habdua
