The forest of foes

The forest of foes is a forest on the Welba side of Conola, Close to Arcanum Spire. It is rumored to contain many Powerful monsters, and many adventuring parties who have entered it have never returned.

The forest of foes is thought to contain many monsters, including a family of green dragons. The dragons keep three gulthias blights nearby, and the forest is infested with thousands of less powerfull blights.

Natural hazards

The forest is full of sharp vines. The forest is difficult terrain and anyone walking through it without protection takes 2d6 piercing damage at the end of each turn. The forest also contains patches of quicksand (see DMG)

History

The forest of foes was originally a normal forest. it is only around 10-20 ua that a family of green dragons mooved in. Their presence attracted many monsters, including the three gulthias blights which live close to the dragons den. In 21w, the great ancient dragon Gredraev was killed by Bartemialdus. The three wyrmlings went into hiding and grew up plotting their revenge. When Bartemialdus died, they took back their old lair in the center of the forest. All three of them have since grown up and have become ancient dragons. They still live in the forest today.
