Bartemialdus

Bartemialdus grew up in a tiny village near the ruins of Vaelthar in terrible conditions. His family gave everything they had to help get him into the district's magic school where he rapidly became the best student. He was suggested to the Eldermere Magic Academy, where he finished his studies. He then continued his reaserch and aquired so much power that Gremago, the god of magic, made him an offer. He gave him an enourmous amount of power in exchange of the promise that Bartemialdus would always use it to punish injustice and to keep balance. With his new power he took down the dark emporer and put an end to the uncertain ages. He later founded Arcanum Spire and created the wonders to try to prevent a similar incident from happening again. But he had done too much and unbalanced the realm in favor of good. To punish him, Gremago killed him and destroyed thirty-three of his wonders. Leaving only twenty-two.

Bartemialdus grew up going to a small school in his village. When he was 12, he started to express interest in magic. His parents gave all they had to get him into the region's magic school. He rapidly showed incredible talent and was recommended to Eldermere's magic academy, where he got a diploma.

After gaining his diploma, Bartemialdus proposed his services to the queen of Conola. After spending 12 years in her service he made a deal with Gremago. He then spent some time in an adventuring party. Worked in Norcocen for a few years before founding Arcanum Spire.

As a member of an adventuring party, Bartemialdus took down the dark emporer and ended the uncertain ages. He later Founded Arcanum Spire on the ruins of his native village and created the 55 wonders.

While he was serving the queen, the dark emporer sent troops to attack Conola. Bartemialdus was tasked to stop them, but arrived to late: 7 villages had already been destroyed, including his native village. He manged to defeat them but was fired by the queen.

Bartemialdus was an intelligent and generous man. He had no sense of humour.

When his village was destroyed, he swore to never let that happen again. That motivation pushed him to join an adventuring party with the goal of eliminating the dark emporer.
