Perilious pass
The perilous pass is the name given to the stretch of the Cobiri river that passes through The forest of foes. This part of the river is very dangerous for the hundreds of boats that pass through it each year.
Dangers
poisonous plants
Because of the poisonous gasses emitted by the plants either side of the river, any creature within 100m of the river banks must make a constitution saving throw (DC 12) every hour and take 1d10 poison damage if they fail.
monsters and animals
The river is home to a group of crocodiles (approximately 7500 individuals) witch will attack anyone in the water. Blights often swim across the river to get to different parts of the forest and attack any boat that comes too close to them.
Rock formation
approximately halfway through the perilious pass, an enormous rock formation in the center of the river forces boats to get closer to the river banks. Any boat the runs into the rock formation takes 10d10 piercing damage.
main dangers
the plants on the river banks emit poison into the air, crocodiles inhabit the water and blights often swim across.
How to get through safely
Do not go through on a small boat, stay near the center of the river and avoid any blights swimming across
