Architon (ɑːkiːtʌn)

While there are many who find themselves as followers or empowered clerics of Dream Shaper across the world. In the Dolvalyn Sovereignty there are those who are seemingly touched by the power of the Dream Shaper in a unique way. While they can still commune with the deity and its direct emissaries, Architon seem to have an understanding of dreams themselves. They have a way of interpreting dreams intuitively that they can use to portent future events as well as determining past events. As a result, they are considered nobility in the eyes of the Sovereignty.   When someone is proclaimed as an Architon they are given their own Noble Den of which they are the atriarch. Seemingly, the lives of an Architon are extended by many years due to their connection with the concept of dreams, which has led many of them to hold over their Den and position for hundreds of years, even if they were not born elven.   The first Architon was proclaimed in 104 AR, but since then each few years a possible Architon is found and tested to determine if they have enough knowledge and understanding of dreams, or taught if they are not yet on that path. There have been around 12 successful Architons that have been proclaimed since the first, and of these 3 of them have passed in the time since they were proclaimed. However, some of the prior unsuccessful candidates have been reconsidered in more recent years, especially as there has been a recent set of attacks on several of the current Architons leading 2 to nearly fatal injuries.
