The King of Dragonheart

Zym is a big man, towering over most people, his presence alone demonstrated the might of the Dragon King. He has a very large and muscular figure.

Shapeshifting: Zym is able to turn either into his main form or into his dragon form as a full blown white Bewilderbeast.   Superhuman Durability: Zym's scaly body is highly resistant to all forms of conventional physical injury. He has been shown to withstand falls from tremendous heights, temperature extremes of both hot and cold, great impact forces and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury. He can hold his breath for much longer than an Oni.    Regenerative Healing Factor: In spite of his quite high resistance, it is possible to cause Zym injury. If injured, his body's superior metabolism enables him to rapidly regenerate damaged or destroyed tissues much faster and more extensively than a human being.    Superhuman Strength: Zym possesses vast superhuman strength, the full limits of which aren't known. At his peak, however, it is known that he is able to lift onto 25.000 kg.    Superhuman Stamina: Zym's advanced musculature is far more efficient than the musculature of a human being. As a result, his muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of a human. At his peak, he can exert himself physically for up to 750 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.    Superhuman Longevity: Zym, like all members of his race, has an extraordinarily long lifespan.    Enhanced Endurance and Stamina: Similar to other Bewilderbeasts, Zym is extremely tough and can withstand most of the attacks that are fired at him. His stamina is very high as he was shown to be able to travel long distance. He could also take multiple, heavy attacks and could still swim away with little to no exhaustion.    Ice Breath: Like every Bewilderbeast, Zym is capable of breathing a massive wave of ice that leaves behind massive damage upon freezing and hitting its target.    Strength and Combat: Due to his colossal size in dragon form, Zym possess nearly unmatched strength and raw power. He can crush massive war contraptions without even noticing it and plow through mountainsides as if they were paper walls. His scales and hides are thick and durable, able to withstand numerous weapons that would be problematic for other dragons. Human spears laced with Dragon Root bounce right off. When moved to actively fight, Zym uses several tactics for battle. When battling smaller dragons or humans, Zym prefers to attack from the depths of the seas, emerging with a roar and decimating his foes with his icy breath, and stomping on whatever remains. When brawling against another Bewilderbeast, the tusks are the main weapon used, each wrestling and grappling with his tusks to flip over and gain dominance over the other.    Dragon Mind Manipulation: Zym is able to manipulate the minds of most dragons, appearing to bend their wills. Zym's antenna-like spines around his eyes rapidly vibrate, along with brisk dilation and contraction of the pupils when this mind manipulation is in active use. The vibrations of the spines suggest an auditory component to the manipulation. This auditory mind control uses ultrasound, which may be why humans appear unaffected. It is unknown if other animals are able to be influenced by this ability.    Underwater Adaptations: His dragon form appear to be mainly aquatic, but also does not appear phased by being on land. He does not have any visible nostrils, so may absorb needed oxygen by other means. His body is streamlined for swimming at high speeds and is capable of ignoring drastic hydraulic drags and water pressures due to his colossal body mass. Zym is agile enough to effortlessly chase and catch a large number of fish, and is fast enough to demonstrate surprise attacks despite being so large.   Dragon Training and Riding: Zym has gotten better at dealing with dragons. He is also able to calm angry dragons with a calming touch.   Fighting Skills: Zym is almost certainly the greatest warrior in the South. Along with his strength, Zym does have a little bit of strategic ability as well.    Wisdom: Tied to his leadership skills, Zym is shown to be wise and thoughtful when it comes to problems, despite his stubborn nature. He is cautious when dealing with madmen. He even gave some advice to his son, that there will be hard choices in life. He can't be someone's friend and be their leader at the same time, knowing that the person might not listen.   Leadership Skills: The kingdom usually trusts Zym fully. He terrifies many of the people, but they all respect him. He is called upon to use tact and diplomacy to mediate disputes, as seen in, manages Dragonheart's resources for future needs as mentioned and lends a hand where ever possible, from taking down a fence, to driving off a wild dragon attack on their fishing boats. It was shown he is a great sea captain, and it was hinted he is also an experienced fisherman.    Reflexes and Coordination: He is shown to have great reflexes. When someone snuck up on him, he grabbed them by their tunic and lifted them off the ground.
