Shinjuro Rengoku

Shinjuro strongly resembles his sons, Kyojuro Rengoku and Senjuro Rengoku, possessing unruly orange hair that flares out around his face, becoming redder near the ends above his ears, that he wears messily tied back behind his head. He has fair skin, bushy black eyebrows and bright, orange eyes that redden near the pupils, that are slanted inwards and shaped so as to give him a furious appearance.

Flame Breathing (炎の呼吸 Honō no kokyū?): One of the core Breathing Styles, this style ran in the Rengoku family since the invention of Breathing Styles and is eventually passed down to his son, Kyojuro.    First Form: Unknowing Fire: The user charges towards their target at high speeds and unleashes a singular slash that aims to decapitate them.    Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun: The user releases an arching sword slash upwards.    Third Form: Blazing Universe: The user swings their blade downwards in an arc.    Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation: The user swings their blade in a circular motion that is used to defend from incoming attacks or slash multiple targets in one swoop.    Fifth Form: Flame Tiger: The user performs a series of powerful sword slashes that seemingly takes the form of a flaming tiger.    Ninth Form: Rengoku: The most powerful Flame Breathing technique. The user takes a high stance with their sword before dashing forward at high speeds. The technique is powerful enough to completely carve out the ground in its wake. In the movie and anime adaptation, this technique seemingly took the form of a flaming Japanese dragon that envelopes the user as they are charging towards the target.    Dragon Training and Riding: Shinjuro learned this ability during his younger years, and became an great Dragon Trainer.    Energy Manipulation: Shinjuro is capable of generating energy in different forms to attack, like balls or rays.    Regeneration: Shinjuro is able to heal from injuries very quickly.    Superhuman Durability: Shinjuro' body is highly resistant to physical injury. He is capable of withstanding great impact forces, temperature and pressure extremes, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury.    Superhuman Speed: Shinjuro is capable of running and moving at speeds much faster than the finest human athlete.    Super Agility: He can jump to another spot from far away.    Superhuman Stamina: Shinjuro' muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of human beings. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several days before fatigue begins to impair him.    Superhuman Strength: Shinjuro possesses superhuman strength much greater than that of any human.   Master Swordsman: Shinjuro was one of the most powerful and skilled swordsman in the entire Monster Hunter organization.

Shinjuro wears a traditional blue-grey shades kimono robe with a pair of zori.
