Remus Lupin

Remus is described as having a pale face with premature lines, and light brown hair that, as he progress through his thirties, becomes more and more grey. The lines on his face and his greying hair are the results of the great deal of stress his body underwants with each full moon.

In his werewolf form, he is a large beast with grey fur, and the only differences between his appearance and that of a true wolf being his shorter snout, more human eyes, and tufted tail.

He sportes more of a rough beard. He has scars cutting across his face.

Magical Mastery: Remus is an accomplished and skillful wizard, with extensive knowledge of Dark creatures. He also possess the ability to properly impart practical and theoretical skills of defensive magic to others. Remus is capable of conjuring a corporeal wolf Patronus (a mark of superior magical ability). He also proved to be a skillful duellist, surviving numerous battles. However, by his own admission, Potions is not his strong suit.   Defence Against the Dark Arts: Remus took the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Considered by most of his pupils to be the best teacher they have had in the subject, he is very knowledgeable on the subject of Dark creatures and how to handle them. During his classes, he teachs students about Red Caps, Grindylows, Kappas, Vampires, Werewolves, Nocturnal beasts and Boggarts (and how to repel them using the Boggart-Banishing Spell), showing him to have has excellent knowledge of such fiendish creatures and the necessary defence against them. Known to have displayed a rare flair for his own subject, he also is very proficient on the subject of counter-curses and defensive spell-work, and, being a very proficient duellist, might very well have helped some of his older students become accomplished in combative magic themselves. Remus's Patronus took the form of a wolf, a reflection of his condition, but he can disguise it into a non-corporeal form to hide that fact.   Charms: Remus is shown to have been talented in charms from a young age. He is also able to cast a corporeal Patronus (form of a wolf), which is regarded as a very advanced piece of magic as well as a sign of superior magical ability. The fact that he is even able to decide whether he wanted his Patronus to be corporeal or not was also a testament to his extraordinary talent in charms. He is capable of casting numerous other enchantments, such as the Boggart-Banishing Spell, Seize and pull charm, Pack Charm, Freezing Spell, Freezing Charm, Shield Charm, General Counter-Spell, Bandaging Charm, Disarming Charm, Projectile Jinx, Mobilicorpus, Knockback Jinx, Water-heating spell and even producing Hand-held flames, for example.   Teaching Skills: Despite his lack of previous teaching experience and poor lifestyle, Remus nevertheless proved to be a very skilled and talented teacher when he is the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts. This is because his lessons are more practical rather than theoretical and he has a profound understanding of his students, which motivated even Neville Longbottom to improve. He is an enthusiastic teacher, inspiring students to take part and is very fair. As a result of his effective teaching methods, almost everyone (except some of the Slytherin students) regarded him as the best Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher ever in the school despite his poor and shabby appearance and the revelation that he is a werewolf. His teaching skills are also effective enough to keep the Slytherin students and other wrongdoers under control even though they are critical of his poor and shabby appearance.   Wandless and Non-Verbal Magic: Remus conjures fire (possibly Bluebell Flames) without using a wand and non-verbally. He can also open locks and chests and relight candles with just the wave of his hand. These are a testament to Remus being a truly powerful wizard, as both wandless and non-verbal magic are very difficult.   Transfiguration: Remus, along with Sirius, is able to perform Untransfiguration. He is also able to perform conjuration, which is an incredibly advanced form of Transfiguration. This shows he s highly proficient in this notably very difficult and complicated branch of magic.   Healing Magic: Remus can effectively use the Bandaging Charm to bandage and splint broken bones, showing him to have been skilled in the art of medical magic and with the casting of healing spells. He does note that he wasn't nearly as skilled at healing as Poppy Pomfrey.   Apparition: Being an accomplished wizard, Remus is capable of Apparating successfully.   Duelling: Remus is a highly talented duellist. Remus was willing to personally fight the exceptionally skilled Severus Snape.   Claws and Fangs: Remus has powerful claws and is able to cut through solid walls. His fangs can tear human flesh and can rip out a human heart right out of their chest cavity. He is able to transform just his claws without transforming fully.    Infectious Bite: While in beast form, Remus can turn another persons into a werewolf through a bite. He is capable of doing this at will.    Shapeshifting: Remus transforms into a wolf-like creature under a full moon, when feeling great anger, he is in great danger, forced by a magical artifact or out of free will.    Super Stamina: He does not tire easily, allowing him to physically exert himself for longer, and in a superhuman physical capacity.    Enhanced Agility: Remus possesses enhanced speed and agility, far greater than any human. This enables him to perform leaps across incredible heights and distances, and even scale vertical surfaces. Remus´s agility also allows him to easily and rapidly run, jump, sprint and climb.    Super Strength: He possesses considerably enhanced strength, far greater than any human. He can easily overpower humans, lift and throw others, and rip flesh and bone with amazing force. His strength is notable even for monsters, as he has been observed smashing stone with his bare hands. Even while in human form, Remus possesses incredible strength.    Regeneration: Remus can quickly regenerate all non-lethal damage. He can even heal damage that would be fatal to Humans.    Super Speed: Remus can move very fast. He is able to move from place to place in seconds. He is considerably faster than Humans.    Super Senses: Remus possesses heightened, animal senses. He is able to see with greater clarity than Humans, even in darkness, and his senses of smell and hearing are also equally enhanced.    Invulnerability: Remus cannot be killed by most conventional means and weapons, however, certain supernatural weapons, as well as silver, can kill him. He can also be killed by methods decapitation, dismemberment, as well as certain supernatural beings.
