In his jackal form, Anubis is sleek, black, and graceful and wears a golden collar. In his "natural" human form, Anubis is about sixteen and possesses a pale complexion, long, tousled black hair, and warm brown eyes, the color of melted chocolate. He is described as being very good-looking and tall. His ears stick up a bit, exactly like a jackal's.

Shapeshifting: Anubis is also able to change his shape from jackal to human and any other form he wishes. He can use this to sometimes project illusions into the minds of others.   Necromancy: He may be able to manipulate darkness and he is able to communicate with the dead, appear invisible to mortals, control the souls of others and summon jackal warriors.    Mummy Wrappings Manipulation: Anubis may also summon mummy wrappings and shape them into objects, such as a bench to sit upon.   Containment: Anubis showed the ability to shrink and contain his enemies in jars and open a crack in the Earth to summon spirits to pull his enemies to the Underworld.   Invisible Dead Summoning: He can also summon dead souls into the world of the living without others noticing, not even magicians and demigods.   Sacred Location Habitation: Apparently, Anubis can appear in temples dedicated to him.   Superhuman Reflexes: Anubis has superhumanly quick reflexes.   Combat Magic: He has his own combat avatar which is made of sand and fire. His staff when used is mimicked by a ten-meter sand/fire staff.   Massive Strength: Anubis has incredible strength, even for a god. He once simply stamped the floor and it shook from the force, and made all of the other gods present "topple over each other like dominoes".   Demon Wings: Anubis can instantly sprout dark demonic wings and fly when he needs them.   Storm Magic: As the god of the desert, he often attacks enemies with blasts of sand from his staff and when he is in his source of power, the desert, he can create huge storms to the point he once created the Dragon Desert. He is at his strongest in his domain. He can also summon bolts of red lightning, also from his staff.   Desert/Chaos Empowerment: It has been shown that he is much stronger in his domain, the desert.   Fire Magic (limited): Anubis can also control fire to an extent.   Telekinesis: Anubis is quite skilled in telekinesis.   Paralyzing Gaze: Anubis also has the power to paralyze his foe when they look directly at him.   Chaos Protection: Anubis can also sustain and shield people from the harmful effects of Chaos.   Fighting Skills: He is also very good at fighting, excelling at battle with his staff.   Chaos Generation: Anubis' very presence radiates Chaos, and can cause an entire room to crumble.
