By 2710 the First Emperor had solidified control, an unstoppable wave of anti-psitech sentiment destroyed much if not all psitech on worlds all around the universe. So great was this destruction that it was nearly religious in fervor, and it sent some worlds so far back in technological progress that they were left in little better than the stone age.
