Bright blue clothing is considered taboo, as it opposes the sacred color of amber. Things the Children consider sins are primarily cowardice and envy while its virtues are temperance, charity, and bravery.

Priesthood
Clergy serve as community leaders and military advisers to the nobility. They are expected to live an ascetic lifestyle, which includes celebicy and separation from family. All this to become closer to the All Seeing Eye without distraction. The community in which they serve elects who becomes priest from among the acolytes. Acolytes are chosen from those who seek it and make it through the rituals of initiation, which includes a long fast. Special jewelry worn at the neck distinguish the clergy from the general populace, always bearing the symbol of The Eye.
Political Influence & Intrigue
The Children are deeply embedded into the Holy Kingdom of Tawet, and are a part of the structure of governance there.
