Shaft 69
Shaft 69 is a secret hideaway in the Anatarix Catacombs created by Neposlushnaya Ved'ma. It was originally a collapsed mine shaft and was labeled with the number 66, not 69.

"You dare attempt to pass without Ligma?"The frame of the entrance is obscured by bones that line the entire hallway, and is only really recognizable because of two metal 6's nailed to the top. If the second six is turned upside-down to look like a 9, a skeleton emerges from the wall. It will say something about "ligma," and if someone asks what "ligma" is, it will say "ligma balls," laugh, and then lift part of the wall to allow people into Shaft 69.
History
At some point, Shaft 66 collapsed. After the mine was converted to catacombs,
Neposlushnaya Ved'ma discovered the shaft and converted it into a secret laboratory. Eventually, when Ved'ma fled the country, and the lab remained unused for centuries.
The shaft was eventually refound by Ved'ma's younger incarnation, Keziah Mason, and her friend Yamamoto Akiko.
