Lady Mire

Lady Mire is the spirit of the swamps and marshes of the Wetlands. Prayed to by the people still living like the old tribes did
deep within the "Deephollow Marshes". While most folk around the human realms worship the Devine, the Lady represents the power of nature, often compared to the
"All-mother" from elvish druidism. And surely Lady Mire is similar to at least one of the mothers four aspects, she yet stands more vicious and cruel then all of them. For she has, for as long as anyone remembers, demanded offerings of varying sorts, just to keep the lands fertile and the animals breathing. Many centuries ago, not long after The Light's Revolution, when the Wetlands and Metrif once again unified under same banner and the Will Of The Five had reached the swampy lands. The old tribes were forced to worship the new gods and leave their own to become only memories. The sudden lack of offerings and sacrifices for the Spirit, had left the region to decay, and though the new goddesses light should shine upon and fertilize the marshes, their powers had no say in these lands. Quickly and for many years, the Wetlands became just a festering wound upon the realms, uninhabitable by all but a few scaly creatures. Though the people of the "United Realms of Wetlands and Metrif" were obligated to devote themselves to the Will Of The Five, The "Council of Lua" had no choice but to leave the worshippers of the lady to their belief. And so the Wetlands, with its spirit once again prayed to, flourished and prospered to the diverse, natural wonder it is. Lady Mire is therefore the only faith beyond the "Chosen Ones" allowed to be practiced freely in the United Realms.

Demanding's

Lady Mire accepts all things as a sacrifice, but seems to only answer the offerings of equivalent exchange. Not in no material sense, nor anything traditionally valuable, equivalent in sentimental value. The Offerings are made to giant grey, leafless trees, reffered to as "Kanu'Anim" spread out through the marshes. The trunk of these natural structures are all hollow, and have a similar growth, naturally extended into a bowl with a hole into the middle of the tree. The openings are not just fox dens, No.. These hollow insides are seen as portals to the lady's "Endless Rivers", deep beneath the crust of the earth.
Offerings are overpoured with dirt and water and put into the side of the bowl, if the lady accept the gift she will let it flow by it self into its endless hollow core. Followed by a ritual, asking the lady for what you might seek.

"From the waters I am, In the waters I live, Through the roots I've grown, With the roots I will hone, My Queen show me no deception and I will leave u no exception, For I am your subject nothing more, I beg of you to help me win this internal war".

Afterlife

As Vicious and cruel as Lady Mire might be, she does not favor any over others and as long as the sacrifices
throughout your life have been sufficient to her,
she will accept you to her "Endless Rivers". When her followers die, the body will be laid in the bowl as a last offering, and only if she finds their demise honorable, will the gates to her haven open for them. In the deep, they will find a beautiful, endless garden to live out eternity, with all their heart and soul might ever desire.
