What Went Down
The team returned to The Last Drop to speak with the older Japanese gentleman. Sebastien is sure that he is part of the Kanzaki Yakuza. Cipher introduces himself, and the man states his name is Renji Takagawa. The two share his pot of green tea. Renji sees the Tyger Claws gaining power. “The old men I serve still believe honour protects territory. But Watson belongs to the fire now. When they come for Harry again - and they will - I ask only this: Do not let them burn the rest.
He tells you that the Tyger Claws have taken over the apartment building next door to the pachinko parlour.
After some message exchanges with Dweasel, the team meets the netrunner, Athlon, in meatspace at the Watson Japanese Lantern Market.
While leaving the Lantern Market, Io sees a used clothing vendor selling a jacket that belongs to her missing boyfriend. She is adamant (backed up by Cipher) that the vendor reveal his source. He tells them the name "Wex" and that he has a warehouse near the Night City / NorCal border.
Io is distraught and curls up in her container, leaving the team to their own devices. Sebastien, Athlon and Cipher go to Quantum Echoes for drinks. They bring Cipher regular pekoe tea rather than the green tea he requested.
While returning home, the three are assaulted by more Tyger Claws. Takeshi, who barely survived his last encounter with Cipher, is terrified and tries to warn his friends. The three Tyger Claws engage with blasts of sub-machine gun automatic fire and heavy pistols. Takeshi quickly runs away unscathed, the SMG-toting ganger manages to escape, but Cipher and Athlon gun down the remaining two Tyger Claws. Cipher did end up taking some damage from the SMG.
Notable Events
Meeting Athlon and bringing him to Harry's Yard.
Io discovers the jacket that belonged to her missing boyfriend, Nighthawk. This causes her great emotional stress.
While treating Cipher's wounds, Sébastien discovered his kill-switch - it went off, but failed to kill Cipher. The design was unlike any other Sébastien had seen before; he would need to research it further.
