Week of the Mountain

Celebrated by the Mountainhead church, where the most devout spend 5 entire days meditating on the gods and their virtues.

History

During the early 12,000s a lot of people were disillusioned with their faith. The upper Abbots of the church decided this would be a good way to reignite the spark. It wasn't, but some people liked it and the Abbots kept trying it so it stuck around.

Execution

The official execution is meant to be that the faithful stay inside and meditate for the full 5 days, only taking nourishment from bread and water, but most people just consider that particular god more that day.

Components and tools

A few people use symbolic items for each deity, examples include bandages, a knife, a puzzle, a wolf's tooth, and a book of law.

Participants

Frequently to replace the complete isolation, Abbots will hold full ceremonies on each of the days, telling relevant stories with a half hour of meditation.

Observance

The first week of July, 1-6, celebrating in order: Feos, Recos, Conqost, Innos and Creas.
