The Irlith Order

A monatic order from beyond Issril. They have a primary goal to reach the divines and perfect their minds through rigourous physical and mental training. Their crest is that of a silver dragon.

Structure

The monks are equals in their monasteries and the monasteries themselves are entirely independant. Often there are hunters or small farmland for their food.
The more senior monks will train the younger ones in their arts of meditation, ki and combative mastery.

Culture

Inner peace and limited violence. They believe that being at one with the gods will allow a mortal into their halls and to be raised into a celestial, so perfect their minds and their faith.

History

Founded by Irlith, the silver dragon, who upon flying to find the heavens, hypothesised it was a state of being and told this to her more mortal friends, who fled to the mountains to found their order.
Irlith was killed along with the other dragons during the doom, despite the monks best efforts. Irlith, believing that she was enlightened, decided to accept death to save her disciples against The Order of the Holy Sword.
