The Brass Bank
The largest bank in the city, found in the middle ring of New Avalon. Named after the brass city in the Elemental Plane of Fire for their vast amount of riches. Surpringly multicultural bank tellers.
Purpose / Function
To make money, give loans, and gain interest from those loans. They're doing pretty well so far.
Design
A square vault, built from steel.
Entries
A closed vault door, requiring three keys or a 3rd level explosion.
Sensory & Appearance
Incredibly clean and really shiny, as there are many bags of gold. They don't keep any lights in their, because most of the people who work in the banks have darkvision, and they can save money and just have them count the coins.
Valuables
Over 300,000 in gold, not even mentioning the silver. The bank's biggest vaults for if they ever do need any back up money.
Hazards & Traps
If the three keys aren't used, a spell gem lets off a lightning bolt to deep free any would be intruders.
Special Properties
An antimagic field weaved inside so that no cunning wizards can float all their valubles away. Also designed to have that field be cut off, every delayed fireball gem in the room (all 6 of them) goes off at once.
Alterations
It has expanded over the years, and was orignally named the Brass Bank in name only, now there are several pillars literally made from brass, entirely to be dramatic.
Architecture
Two stories, and a basement where the majority of the treasure vaults are.
Several decorative plum shaped pieces of brass, making it look like a castle rather than a bank.
Built from fine marble, bought with the Esso family treasure.

History
Built by the Esso family as their nobility wasn't doing them much good. After building the bank and investing it with the rest of the fortune (to the immense contempt of their parents and peers) they began handning out loans with significant interest rates. Very quickly, in under 5 years, they quintupled their fortune and had a habit of always getting their money back. Always.
Tourism
People who are really desperate for money. For all their faults they don't ask for collateral.
