Cormyn Airship
Since Cormyr owns the High forest, they are the only nation truly capable of making effective airships. The wood harvested from a specific grove in said forest is said to be lighter than feathers but stronger than iron. And so, Cormyr has built airships for centuries, including one (the eternum inquisitionae) famously purchased by the Immortals Bane.
The trade of Cormyn skywood has been almost impossible since the war (and was difficult even before that), so the Lords Alliance has only 2 airships in it's entire arsenal, and even then it is loathed to use them, as they have no way to repair them with any permenance.
Cormyn airships are an iconic symbol of their eponymous nation (one that the people are immensley proud of), and were used relentlessly in the recent campaigns against the Lords Alliance in the war of the scorched fields, where they dropped alchemists fire from the sky. Admittedly, though, they are much better as trade vessels than military ones, due to the fact that a single well-placed arrow can fell an airship.
The most famous Cormyn airship, the Icarus is used as the Emperors personal vessel, and is fitted with Mithril armour plating, and magically powered propellors (rather than the usual sails they use)
