Cathedral of Light

The dominant religous building in New Neverwinter, the cathedral of light is a vast hall of insence, prayer and piety. The stained windows depict acts by each of the Gods, and High Priest Atlavas can always be found aiding the needy or giving a sermon.   The ceiling of the cathedral has the artwork the Selune Supremacy painted on it, depicting the events which led to Selune regaining some of her lost strength, but also the death of Lathander.   The building also flanks the Neverdeath cemetary, where the citizens of New Neverwinter are put to rest. The paupers section of the graveyard had to be removed to make room for the main section, but even still it's overcrowded. So another cemetary was built in Blackgate.   A memorial to those who died in the soul sweeping is present next to the cemetary. It's a simple garden with a fountain, and the name of each victim carved into the stone of the fountain base.
