Silvermist Forest
In the northwestern region where the Hseian Highlands meet the Steel Valley, the area gives way to a lush forest at the foothills near Halfrove and Marsena. Silvermist Forest is a temperate forest with the Two Moons River running through it. It is well known in the region for being a source of many useful alchemical and herbal implements for healing and other purposes. It is a refuge for a fair amount of outlanders, hermits, and reclusive witches. Some of these figures do trade with the residents of Halfgrove or act as local guides for travelers from Marsena passing through. Some fear the forest due to rumors of a witch in the area, though others seek them out for the magic they may possess. The forest itself is quite beautiful; it's said to carry a curious mist that nestles around the trees, reflecting off the river, especially visible at night.
