Ever changing , transient, similar to the Abyss in that it consists of an unknown amount of levels, all distincit from eachother and home to its own moster entity.

History

Formed in the schisms carved into the fabric of the material realm as a result of Moander's infectious Rot; The manifestation of the last remaining pieces of Tamra , a corrupted eladrin parasitised by Moander , The Night Realm lies in the rift between the planes of Abyss and Pandemonium , acting as a bridge to the Infinite Staircase (if one can find the door) . Upon entering calimshan , every living being becomes susceptible to banishment to the Night Realm, and must periodically succeed charisma saving throws that increase exponentially or become soul bonded with the Night Realm. Once Soul-Bonded a being can only Ascend or Descend through the Night Realm ,passage back to the Material realm is achieved by finding hidden doors throughout the Night realm , upon each Ascent or Descent the individual is thrust back into the Material realm - where no time has passed. Upon bonding with the Night Realm,the being is also bonded to a specific monster - this monster will hunt the individual in the Material realm as well as the Night realm


Tourism

The amount of vistims fell to the Night realm is unknown , deaths are dosumneted sporadically , with lax goverment systems and widespread corruption. No one is ever truly free of the Night.
