Outer Ring
The Outer Ring is the city where most people on Nero live. It encompasses the entirety of Platoris except for the "Inner Ring" the Outer Ring is seperated from the "Inner Ring" by the two rail lines Goodsbringer and "Inner Rail". The city is ruled by the "Empire of Alexandar".
The city is comprised of factories, mines and slums all huddled together in the limited space. No fishing or farming takes place on the island, since all the usable land is being used for living space or factories. Therefore all food is imported from other islands, creating conflicts in the town, when imports are low. Fishing in the waters near Platoris is prohibited, since pollutants from the island, have made the fish mutated, and unsafe for consumption. During times of famine many will attempt to fish, but almost all of these fools end up killed and eaten by the mutated aquatic life. Therefore the law prohibiting fishing is barely enforced by the authorities since the lawbreaker most often end up dead
