Most Solarians can trace their ansestry back to Romalia when it was still an Empire. And when they grew too large to handle easily, Solaria broke away. What caused this was a moment at a monestary to the far north of the continent. In what is now called Everlight, the town was built around a large prison. It was where Romalia sent their highest offending criminals. It is believed that the consentration of evil brought down the might of The Silver Flame. At the center of the prison was a fountain. Due to the cold climate there was limited plumbing. So it provided the inmates with clean water. The morning was when the fountain was the most busy, and as inmates gathered, the blue-white sun flared. A ray of light shone through a gap in the crenellations, and fell upon the tip of the fountain. The water stopped flowing and white fire issued forth from the fountain and down into the courtyard. The fire roared through the halls and down into the city near by. Nearly a thousand people died in the blaze. But no structural damage was had. The fire had been sent by the Silver Flame to clense the area of evil. The fountain became an ever burning urn. A voice issued from the flames after it had all died down. "My judgement has been laid. Pure, is this land."    The people that were left couldn't believe what they'd seen. The warden of the prison, who had also been the mayor of the town, stepped forward and decreed that this was a gift from the gods. That now they must spread this purity. This purity was described as the aversion to evil. Those who did harm for its own sake and caused pain for their own joy. Those must be killed. And all who wish to take safety in the light of The Silver Flame are welcome. They began as a fringe but when Romalia fell they spun it all as a divine call. They had been freed from oppression and now they must spread their light where the darkness of chaos fell. Over many decades they grew in strength until they were their own kingdom. Under King Luxon, they would now be called Solaria.

By far the richest nation fielding the largest land based army on Vallerin. The troops mainly use steel lances and short swords coupled with shields.

Solaria was founded by Romalians from their days of Their Empire. The people declared independence and their Jarl rose to become their king and religious leader. As the Romalian Empire split apart, Solaria began working as fast as possible to build up a military force. They were the only nation to maintain a standing army as opposed to souly calling up citizens for serve at the command of their lords as no such titles existed yet. For decades they continued doing all they could to drive wealth into their country and spread their message of moral purity across Vallerin.   Around the turn of the century however their divine king received a vision from The Silver Flame as well as a gift. With his gift he amassed what little forces he could and marched on Gretia. Their King was Deposed during the siege of their Capital. With Gretia's naval power, Solaria turned to Autusgurg and through negotiations integrated them in under two years. Francina then came to the fledgling Empire and asked for aid in deffending themselves from Warring neighbors, Gerlander. Once they took the Gerlander Capital, Solaria quickly turned on their allies and forced a capitulation before they reached their homeland. Romalia joined the same year. Due to their cultural heritage they became fast allies and it was decided that Romalia would be the Capital of this great Empire.   For a decade the Solarians consolidated their power and did all they could to maintain control over their new Empire. Isvenia, a long declining nation who's empire fell before it began nearly two hundred years ago was their next target. The campaign was long, taking another five years to complete as the vast fields and sparse towns made it difficult to run supplies. But they soon fell and seeing opportunity Portlia allied with the Empire the following year.   Solaria has a difficult relationship with Beldan. As it is on the other side of a mountain range and flanked by ocean, the nation was difficult to cultivate any kind of relationship with. But they joined after years of diplomatic missions and finally the Empire was complete, stretching across the Island Nation with Solaria at its head.

Solaria is primarily made up of Humans and Half-Elves. Though it isn't uncommon to find other kinds of Elves, particularly along the borders with Romalia and Autusgurg.

The primary force fielded by Solaria are their Tourch Bearers. These are local guard detachments that combat threats made to the citizens and uphold the laws of the land. They are all marked with platinum pendants shaped into arrow heads with a stamp resembling fire in the center. These pendants are enchanted with the Message spell and allow for shoet range communication with other pendants. Otherwise their armor and weapons can vary between towns and cities. The Tourch Bearers are lead locally by lower ranking paladins. They are the first line of defense. And are the first called up to form the forward units of Solaria's standing army in times of war.    The standing army is known as Light Bringers. They are made up primarily of armored infantry and Cavalry. They split their forces into contingents that are lead by local Lords who are organized by Paladins during war. These contingents will vary in size and training depending on the Lord who maintains the troops.

Though not as advanced as Romalia or The Flame forgive, Beldan, Solaria's tech industry is mainly in manufacture. The dwarves that migrated to avoid other conflicts have been hard at work making basic machines that are capable of doing a small range of tasks. Such as pump water and run rudimentary "electric" lighting. They run most of their machines function on steam produced from boilers heated by Fire Crystals.

• The Silver Flame is force of light that holds fiends at bay. Those who seek to defend the innocent from evil can draw on the power of the Flame.
• Every mortal soul can find the light. Inspire and guide others to virtuous behavior; force is a last resort.
• Listen to the Voice of the Flame; beware the deceiving whispers of the Shadow in the Flame.

  At its core, the Silver Flame is an active religion that calls upon the faithful to fight evil. For the warriors of the church, this means combating the many supernatural threats present in Eberron like undead and fiends. For the ministers and friars of the church, this means leading others to be more compassionate. And for the laity, this means simply living a virtuous life.   Kings have often justified expanding the Empire and putting down rebellion as spreading the Purity of the Flame to all. Depending on the King their sincerity of intervention and integration has varried.

The common laws of decency are codified here. Laws prohibiting stealing, murder, rape, crimes against children, arson and so on are in effect.   Laws unique to Solaria follow their religious doctrine. The doctrine of The Silver Flame is at its core about purity. And the followers in the Capital take that to heart and to extremes. The further from the Capital you go, the more lax The Tourch Bearers are on enforcing them.  

• Vandalism is punishable by the loss of a finger only in the Capital or a fine of 1000gp everywhere else, followed by five years in prison if done to a shrine to the Flame. The further away from the Capital you get the less harsh the fine.
• Any criminal organization of any kind is deemed terrorists and are sentenced to life in prison if caught. 
• Speaking out against the church or monarchy is immediately punishable by a 50gp fine or public service if unable to pay.
• Worship of any evil aligned God or God-like being is punishable with imidiate exile. Though it is common for officials to look the other way regarding entities that malevolently shepherd the dead.

  Races like Drow, Tieflings, Goliaths and Dwarves are all looked upon with suspicion but not hostility from The Tourch Bearers.

The Solarians focus mainly on industry over agriculture. While there are domestic farmers, the Solarians depend on nations like Francina to feed it and most of the Empire as a result. But their crafts are second to none. Their industry focuses mainly on architecture and armor smithing.

They primarily use carriages or thunder rail trains under guard by soldiers but for high priority transport, rudimentary Airships are the fastest way to travel.

The population is rather well educated. Their higher education institutions focus on scholarly pursuits and religion.   The general population however are more educated by a standard, state mandated system. They ensure all living in the Nation as well as the Empire are educated in some way. As a result they prove the adage of "History is Written by the Victor" As they paint any nation's leader that didn't want to join the Empire as corrupt or simply violent. As far as other subjects are concerned they keep it open, letting new ideas of science and math enter the curriculum so long as it doesn't conflict with the teachings of the Silver Flame.

The intercity roads are paved and railways are guarded by soldiers at check points across the Country. They have every modern amenity that is afforded to them. In Everlight 95% of all homes have indoor plumbing but that is exclusive to them. Moat places boast around 50%. But every city and town have functioning sewers and advanced aquaduct systems to transport clean water to any city or town.
