As the Brismaisans begin to expand their fishing grounds, they come into contact with the Tamise merfolk clan. Both parties are somewhat wary of each other at first, but the Tamise eventually agree to allow the Brismaisans free excess to fish and sail on their territory in exchange for the fine volcanic glass found around Mt. Furieux, which they use in constructing magical weapons and decorational pieces.
