Whirlington
The capital of the S'aue Empire, Whirlington is a sprawling metropolis that thousands of S'aue call their home. A hotspot of industry and invention, the city is alive with steelyards, steamworks and workshops through the day and night.
The very first S'aue workshop that Mykros had founded, Genesis Engines, began to take up more and more of Mykros' time, and soon the actual S'aue Empire was established and official rule was transferred to the Board of Directors, formed from the most influential and wealthiest entrepreneurs among the S'aue.
Mykros still holds a position on the board, but her interests lie in the managing of her own business empire, and she rarely attends the bi-monthly meetings of the board.
One of the most visited of these is the headquarters of Genesis Engines, which offers child-friendly tours that explain the process of building S'aue, all the way down to an interactive model chassis that visitors are allowed to modify and see it come to life for a little song and dance.
For those more business-minded, the showfloor is also open most days, where those wealthy enough can actually design a full-fledged S'aue individual that will be built to their specifications.
For this practice, Mykros has devised a very strict code of conduct. The resulting S'aue is to be a free individual, vested with all the rights and responsibilities granted to everyone and should they choose not to involve the commissioner in their life in any shape or form, the commissioner is to accept this.
Another popular attraction in the city is the central garden, which consists of entirely artificial plant and animal life, all in a simulated ecosystem. Flowers with metallic stems ending in petals of fire will dazzle onlookers, as robotic avian creatures fly through the artificial canopy. It is like an approximation of nature from the viewpoint of the S'aue, which some find fascinating and others morbid.
There is also a convention center in the city hall, which is where local businesses and workshops regularly host showcases of their new products and services. Getting a timeslot in the convention center is often a dream come true for any budding entrepreneur, as the exposure is worth the price of the reservation many times over.
These individuals live in extreme poverty while those on the other side of the walls lead their lives in the lap of luxury and abundance. Due to this, many groups, especially those with ties to the Church of Resounding Truth, frown upon Whirlington's status as a mass tourism destination.
Consolants from the Communion of the Gentle Hand can often be found in the Districts, tending to the needs of the deficient S'aue living there, trying to show them that while the S'aue Empire might have forgotten about them, the Progenitor has not.
Founding and Leadership
Whirlington was the first population center that was established after the S'aue took their freedom from the Logicians. Under the leadership of Mykros, the city thrived and grew.

Tourism and Points of Interest
Whirlington is one of the, if not the most visited city on the face of Nascindor. It is packed full of stores, amusement parks, art galleries, museums and kiosks. One of the most visited of these is the headquarters of Genesis Engines, which offers child-friendly tours that explain the process of building S'aue, all the way down to an interactive model chassis that visitors are allowed to modify and see it come to life for a little song and dance.

Social Injustice
As is the case with S'aue society everywhere, the rigid class system is not invisible in Whirlington either. Outside of the walls of the city proper, in the Districts that house most of the polluting industrial facilities, live the Deficient, the neglected underclass of the S'aue Empire. These individuals live in extreme poverty while those on the other side of the walls lead their lives in the lap of luxury and abundance. Due to this, many groups, especially those with ties to the Church of Resounding Truth, frown upon Whirlington's status as a mass tourism destination.
