The Second Life

This tavern is used mainly as a pub and meet-up for adventurers looking for work. This tavern also acts as a trade house, people who have items to trade but don't have other places to trade at come here. There is always a good chance of finding something unique. The people who choose to swindle others get kicked out and will tend to find a small spot in the Underhand Alley hoping to find someone to take their bait.

While this building was created before the Great Divide there have been many changes to it. Originally the building was a large but simple tavern but over time, as more and more people started migrating from the outskirts of Khan towards Tal'ja they added more makeshift rooms. Some of these extended past the original building, created by hands who had not taken up construction before that time. They also created more makeshift homes on top of the tavern through the use of sturdy tents. This was all to host the influx of bodies moving there. Today, many of these rooms are now used as storage or have become permanent rooms for some Tal'ja locals.

The Second Life is made out of sandstone to help prevent lightning conductivity. The first floor is pretty open, supported by a multitude of columns, some added in recent years to support the additional rooms built on. The built-on rooms are made from whatever materials were around at the time. The kitchen and bar are located on the first floor in the back left corner. Along the left side, there are the bathrooms and a hallway that leads to the stairs to the second story. In the opposite corner, there is a stage where, in the past people entertained, but now primarily used as a spot to gamble. The next two stories hold six rooms each, and a few have permanent residences. On the top floor, there is roof access.
